You really have changed my life....Last week I felt something change between my sister and I, and I had no idea why. I just felt like I could talk to her, and that I needed to. We almost never talk! She told me about her session with you last week, and how she had to forgive me. I figured that was why things have changed between us" Samantha, Idaho Falls, Idaho

What is Energy Medicine?

“We can define energy medicine. It’s the diagnostic & therapeutic
use of energy. These are ordinary energies. Theres nothing
mythical here; heat, light sound, gravity, pressure, vibration,
electricity, magnetism, chemical energy, electromagnetism--the
basic forces that surround and interpenetrate us. So energy
medicine includes a whole range of hands-on, hands-off methods,
energy techniques and devices. The hands-on methods range
from acupuncture to zero balancing, chiropractic, cranio-sacral,
osteopathy, and so on. Energy medicine involves energy of
particular frequencies and intensities and wave shapes and
other characteristics that stimulate the repair and regeneration of
one or more tissues. That’s my definition.”

Dr. James Oschman on Energy Medicine, YouTube

Conventional medicine is the study and use of chemistry in healing the body and treating disease. Energy medicine is the study and use of physics in healing the body and treating disease....still science based, just a different field of science!!

The Gift of Healing and Seeing Green

"Cure returns us to our previous state of wellness, which is usually what we long for. But the scriptures never speak of the gift of cure. They speak of the gift of healing. Healing is a different process from cure. Healing involves a spiritual and emotional reweaving of our life story to incorporate, not merely remove, our injuries. It involves growth and personal change, maturation into a new state of deeper trust in God despite, not in the absence of, suffering. It includes acceptance of our lost innocence, while reaching toward greater wisdom. Healing does not mean going back to Eden, but going forward through the wounding world of mortality to a wholeness that transcends rather than excludes evil."

Wendy Ulrich, The Temple Experience (Deseret Book)

On Nov 3rd, 2016 the lds.org blog featured this video by Jill Thomas (also featured on Mormon Channel). She shares her beautiful experience of finding the gift of healing, which she calls Seeing Green. I believe the Master never intends for us to just "endure" our trials, but desires for us to experience joy in spite of, and through adversity....He truly intends for us to see Green!

Our tears carry the emotions of our experiences...evidence of emotional energy affecting matter!

Our different tears have very different molecular structure! But when you think about it, it makes perfect sense as our tears have very different functions depending on the kind of emotion they are carrying. In these pictures, we see tears of grief, change, onions and laughing.

One thing they have in common:
they all carry experience.

The Power of Sound and Frequency

Think energy and frequency don't affect matter?

Think again.

The power of sound and frequency. Knowing that our bodies consist of mostly water, change is easy.

The Power of Your Words...

Words are powerful. We can change our lives in moments by changing our thoughts and words. Thoughts are the seeds that we plant and words often carry forth the actions of our thoughts. God created the universe first through a thought and then with the spoken word, “Let there be Light.”
Our internal dialogue has enormous effect on every aspect of our lives; physically, emotionally mentally and spiritually. Dr. David Pesek, teacher of the School of Natural Healing’s Iridology course, had this to say about thoughts and our health, “There is always a physical reason (for poor health) but thought and emotion always come first. No one has a physical condition without a thought and emotional relationship to it. It just doesn’t happen any other way.”

What is Foot Zone Therapy?

What happens during a foot zone session?  During a typical session, the Foot Zone Practitioner will use their hands, fingers, thumbs, and knuckles to stimulate the signals on the foot.  Occasionally there will be discomfort which is an indication of disharmony in a signal.  A session will typically take about 90 minutes but may take longer depending on the other energy services that the Practitioner provides.

What are the benefits of foot zoning?  The purpose of the foot zone technique is to help bring the body into balance.  The body is designed to heal itself and will do so in the order that will provide lasting benefits.  It can sometimes take 6-10 foot zone sessions for the body to reach a state of homeostasis.  Then regular maintenance sessions are typically enough to keep the body in balance.
Following the first zone session, clients typically report that they either have a lot of energy or they feel very tired (the body heals as you sleep).  Because it can take up to 4 days for the full benefits of a foot zone session to be manifest, some report that they feel no difference (other than a feeling relaxation) for days after a session, but on the third day they face-plant on the bed and sleep for 12 hours.
Every session will be different and every person will experience different benefits and effects.  These are a few of the reported benefits and reactions.

Quote for the Day: Put the Glass Down!

A psychologist walked around a room while teaching stress management to an audience. As she raised a glass of water, everyone expected they'd be asked the "half empty or half full" question. Instead, with a smile on her face, she inquired: "How heavy is this glass of water?"
Answers called out ranged from 8 oz. to 20 oz.

She replied, "The absolute weight doesn't matter. It depends on how long I hold it. If I hold it for a minute, it's not a problem. If I hold it for an hour, I'll have an ache in my arm. If I hold it for a day, my arm will feel numb and paralyzed. In each case, the weight of the glass doesn't change, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes."
She continued, "The stresses and worries in life are like that glass of water. Think about them for a while and nothing happens. Think about them a bit longer and they begin to hurt. And if you think about them all day long, you will feel paralyzed – incapable of doing anything."
Remember to put the glass down.

What is a Healing Crisis?

By Tarilee Cornish, CNP
"The body is a complex organism that does interesting things as it heals."
I prefer to characterize to a "healing crisis" as an "intense healing event". The latter term actively frames the phenomenon as a positive and productive experience rather than implying that it is undesirable. During healing, your body sets to work cleansing and regenerating. It is the sensation of this cleansing and healing process that has come to be known as a healing crisis.

"An intense healing event is a normal part of an accelerated healing process. It occurs when the body gathers enough strength to deal with the cleansing and regeneration needed to achieve an improved condition of health." - David Saterlee

How Can I Learn to Muscle Test?

I get asked this question a lot. It's much simpler than you might imagine, but it does take lots and lots of practice. You have to learn to use your instrument (your body), and to fine-tune your sensitivity and skill, just like learning to use any other instrument, say learning the piano or to play the violin.
